Dear Competitors, Teachers and Parents,
Thank you for your outstanding performances in this year’s competitions. We regret not being able to hear you in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but appreciate your participation in the online finals during this unprecedented time. It is a great honor to be a finalist in the MTNA Competitions, as typically more than 2,000 talented students from across the country enter each year.
MTNA thanks the following organizations for their generous sponsorship of the MTNA Junior Performance Competitions.
- Chopin Foundation of the United States, sponsor of the best Chopin performance
- Kawai America, sponsor of the piano competition
- Yamaha Corp. of America, Orchestral Strings Department, sponsor of the string competition
- MTNA Foundation Fund, sponsor of the woodwind competition
MTNA produced a commemorative competition program book for competitors and conference attendees. A digital version of this program will be available by March 13 on the competitions section of the MTNA website.
This year, we had an excellent panel of judges from whom you will be receiving comments in the coming days. To find out more about them, please view the alphabetical listing of judges in the digital competition program book.
It now gives me great pleasure to recognize the Junior Performance Competition winners and finalists below:
